• Dr. Omar Mahgoob is a highly skilled family physician dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare to his patients. With a diverse medical background spanning continents, Dr. Mahgoob brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his practice. Dr. Mahgoob obtained his MD degree from the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad. His pursuit of excellence led him to further his education abroad, obtaining his MRCS degree from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK. Dr. Mahgoob’s international training equipped him with a global perspective on healthcare and a deep appreciation for cultural diversity. In Canada, Dr. Mahgoob completed his residency training in family medicine at the University of Ottawa, where he received comprehensive training in primary care and preventive medicine. He was awarded certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP), recognizing his proficiency in delivering high-quality care to individuals and families across the lifespan. Dr. Mahgoob was also part of the pediatric surgical team at the Alberta Children's Hospital in Calgary, where he gained invaluable experience in pediatric care. This experience further enriched his clinical knowledge and strengthened his ability to address the unique healthcare needs of children and adolescents.
